In this day of computer searches for property she made sure the posting was up on all the search engine’s and the photos were of excellent quality. She was there for the showings. Unfortunately my experience with Brenda was an extremely negative one. It's nothing personal and I'm sure she is a lovely person.
In my case she was largely unresponsive and incompetent. She ignored emails and texts. She gave misleading information. She seemed very scattered and unorganized.
I felt that her only motivation was to make money. When things got complicated and stressful with the building of my home, her response was to ask me if I wanted to "bag it" and not buy the home, this the day after she told me there was nothing else available in my price range. She even tried to sell me to her assistants home at one point, I guess as a last resort?
Brenda made my life a nightmare for about six months, and even though I'm now in my new home, there are still negative repercussions because of Brenda and her lack of competency. I really wish I had been more careful and selective. She has caused me and my family an inordinate amount of headaches and stress.

I apologize that my service did not meet your expectations. I set a high standard & am sorry to hear that standard was not met in your experience. Your happiness & the happiness of all of my clients is my #1 priority. I know that buying a home can be an exciting & rewarding experience. I also realize in a robust market like we have, the buying process can be overwhelming, disappointing & maybe a "nightmare'. There was extra stress of not living here & being able to see homes in person, having lost 4 resale homes to multiple offer situations & eventually settling on a new build home due to lack of availability of viable homes for you. New construction is very tough, the home was late & causing more pressure & stress. I apologize that the home was late, the delivery date from the builder was beyond my control. Brenda is fantastic--thorough, professional, communicative and follows through when she says she'll do something.

My wife and I began our search for a home in the Coeur D'Alene / Post Falls area while vacationing in the area. We fell in love with a couple of neighborhoods Brenda showed us but couldn't find the right house on that trip.

We stayed in touch with Brenda over the next year and monitored new listings in those neighborhoods. When we found one we thought we might like, we were reluctant to fly to Idaho from our home in Colorado unless the home truly seemed like a match.

We asked Brenda what she thought. She hadn't yet seen the house as the listing was only a couple of hours old. Brenda volunteered to drive over immediately and look at the house. She told us we'd love it.

We flew up the next morning and met her at the house. She was right, and we instantly knew it was the house for us.

The seller's realtor wasn't the easiest to work with but Brenda made it happen even getting us a better deal than we could have imagined.

It was important for us to get a quick close so we could be in our new home for the beautiful summer on Lake Coeur D'Alene. Brenda suggested a lender who helped us close in 20 days without a hitch.

My wife and I can highly recommend working with Brenda. I hope we never sell our new home, but if we do, we'll work again with Brenda.

Brenda was recommended to us by our friend who relocated to Coeur d' Alene. He spoke very highly of her and had a very smooth home purchase experience, so we contacted her.
She really helped us to narrow our search and kept in contact with us for nearly two years.

I found Brenda on Zillow after reading several featured realtor profiles. She is the best!! The first time she showed me houses, she picked me up at the airport and arranged for a ride back the next day. We looked at numerous homes from the Coeur d'Alene area up to the Sagle/Sandpoint area. The next time I returned, I concentrated my search in a smaller radius. I found a home, which I love in a great area with the primary features that were most important to me for my retirement! We used Brenda 4 years ago when we purchased a short sale condo. Brenda was amazing. So when we decided to sell the condo and buy a home, we chose Brenda again. She suggested a price we thought was ridiculously high, but went with her suggestion. She sold our condo in 7 days at full asking price - we were stunned! Then she helped us find a new home the first day of searching, at a price we were very happy with. She is smart, friendly, and very in tuned to what you want and need. We chose Brenda for her polish and enthusiasm. She was very knowledgeable about the market. We initially engaged Brenda to sell our townhome. Soon after, we found a home we wanted to make an offer on. Brenda negotiated very well and got us the home while working through the process due to the home's "Sale Pending" status.
Brenda has always been responsive and thoughtful in her advice. We had to get inventive in getting our townhome sold. Brenda delivered our terms well and we were able to close.

Brenda worked tirelessly to find our new home! We were moving in from the East Coast and new very little about the area. She was knowledgeable about the area (from CDA to Post Falls to Sandpoint), and very insightful in translating our wants/needs into appropriate showings. Ultimately, (after months of searching), we settled in Sandpoint. We love our new home, we love Sandpoint and we love Pend Oreille! Last year, we decided to relocate to and a buy a home in the CDA area. We contacted Brenda because of reviews we saw on her expertise with relocation and first time home buyers.

Because it was our first home buying experience, we were very nervous and felt unsure of what to expect from the whole process. Brenda was great at helping us through and making us feel comfortable with the steps involved. At one point, we received some concerning information upon the inspection and she was able to explain to and advise us on the situation, negotiate with the sellers and their agent and ultimately get us into the home we wanted under the right circumstances for us.

What surprised me most was how easy she was to get in touch with and how flexible she was with our schedules. Working with her from two states away was very seamless. She was able to accommodate our travel plans so that we could look at homes at the dates and times that worked best for us. We also never had a problem getting in touch with her, she either always answered her phone or got back to us the same day, usually within an hour or two. I find it hard to come across salespeople that are that reliable.

She also provided us with valuable information about the area, being that we were new to CDA. We were very pleased with Brenda and would use her again and recommend her to others.

We really enjoyed working with Brenda, she was very instrumental in our choice to move to the CDA area. We both appreciated her upbeat and positive attitude during the whole process. One instance comes to mind:
After receiving the results of the home inspection of the house we were selling back in Virginia, we were very discouraged, even our Realtor back in VA was somewhat glum about it which didn't help, this was indeed our low point. A short time later we called Brenda and left a message telling her of the situation. She called us back and told us not to worry, that it was a common occurrence and she dealt with this every day. As it turned out, she was right, we got the "to do" list from the inspector whittled down considerably (as what usually happens) and things fell into place. To sum it up, as soon as we were done talking with her we felt more at ease and from there on things fell in place. She was just a fun lady to work with.

I've owned over 18 homes and Brenda is the most fantastic relator I've ever used. After looking at 40 plus homes, in one week, and not finding what we were after. We left town and Brenda kept looking on her own and found the perfect home for us. It was new, and all on one floor, with a price tag a few hundred thousand under what we would have paid. We hit the jackpot when we found Brenda Burk while on-line searching for our retirement, dream home in the Coeur d'Alene area. We quickly discovered Brenda to be knowledgeable and timely with responses to our never ending questions. Since we were relocating to the area, we appreciated her extensive knowledge of the area, real estate sale trends, etc. Additionally, we would like to add that Brenda holds superior negotiation skills. When we decided to enter into to contract on our home, Brenda suggested we offer to buy the house furnished (turn-key). Little did we know, of Brenda's true negotiating skills behind the scenes. The sellers later told us Brenda certainly was "our advocate" and when they sell their next house, they are calling Brenda Burk. Yep, that pretty much sums up her negotiation skills!
